People Operations Manager

Location: Must be based in the office (onsite, 5 days a week)

Salary: $115,000 – $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and scale People Operations processes and systems from the ground up.
• Manage end-to-end benefits administration, including renewals, compliance, and vendor management.
• Support recruiting operations, including ATS administration, interview scheduling, and reporting.
• Oversee HR compliance across multiple states and manage claims.
• Lead onboarding execution and HRIS setup for new hires.
• Partner with leadership on compensation planning, market benchmarking, and equity administration.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or generalist HR roles.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment law and multi-state HR compliance.
• Proven ability to independently manage benefits renewal cycles and open enrollment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or hardware-focused industries.
• Familiarity with ITAR facilities.
