Sr Director, Supplier Development

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $165,000–$175,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead supplier partner performance, category strategy, governance alignment, and consistent delivery across assigned mobility categories.
• Manage and develop the global Supplier Development team, including resource allocation, goals, budgets, headcount, mentoring, and training.
• Establish supplier development and category strategies, standards, selection criteria, performance scorecards, and supplier review processes.
• Partner with Procurement, Governance, Finance, Strategic Supplier Solutions, Business Development, and Implementation teams on sourcing, contracting, negotiations, and client initiatives.
• Identify and develop new products and category solutions, support implementation, and increase supplier network usage and referral revenue.
• Represent the supplier development function in client meetings, prospect presentations, industry conferences, RFPs, RFIs, re-bids, and re-negotiations.

Requirements

• University or college degree, or equivalent work experience; a degree in business, communications, human resources, or a related field is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in mobility, supplier services, procurement, customer service, or a similar industry, including at least 5 years in supply chain, category management, supplier development, or procurement.
• At least 3 years of people management experience and at least 3 years in strategic supplier solutions, client relationship management, or senior stakeholder management.
• Proven experience with global and US domestic relocation, escalation management, high-touch supplier delivery, strategic planning, supplier performance, category management, procurement, and governance.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, strong written communication, financial and business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Native or fluent English is required; additional languages are preferred for work with multilingual teams. Cultural sensitivity and the ability to operate across regions and time zones are also required.

Nice to have

• CIPS or another supply chain management certification.
• CRP or GMS certification.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
