Sourcing Senior Specialist (Procurement)

Location: Hybrid in Rosemead, California; employees must work and reside in California and report to an SCE facility for a set number of days, with remote work available on remaining days. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $114,400–$171,600

What you will do

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for line construction, engineering and design services, civil construction, vegetation management, transmission and substation construction, generation services, major capital projects, environmental services, and corporate real estate support.
• Lead competitive procurement and tendering events, negotiate commercial agreements, and update supplier agreements, contracting policies, and procedures.
• Manage supplier relationships and day-to-day Energy contracts across regulated and de-regulated markets.
• Ensure risk management, quality, ethical sourcing, sustainability, legal compliance, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness align with company policies and business commitments.
• Conduct contract reviews, audit-compliance checks, spend analysis, and complex data analysis to identify opportunities, risks, gaps, and long-term agreement requirements.
• Develop innovative solutions for complex issues using organizational-readiness and change-management strategies while protecting sensitive company, customer, financial, physical, and cybersecurity assets.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience using SAP in a purchasing environment and Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, and P2P modules.
• Experience sourcing services and applying purchasing practices, policies, procurement contracts, and standard terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, utility regulations, procedures, and compliance related to purchasing.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, analyzing information, and making strategic decisions regarding scope, impact, policy, development, and implementation.
• CPM, CPSM, CPCM, CCCM, and/or PMP certification.
