Technical Project Manager

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $65,234–$73,645 per year, with potential additional compensation such as bonuses.

What you will do

• Manage and direct project personnel executing tasks defined in the Performance Work Statement.
• Oversee multiple service programs and projects, including financial services programs supporting VA IT development and sustainment.
• Apply Agile, Large-Scale Scrum, SAFe, VIP, and Process Asset Library methodologies to track contract-driven activities and delivery quality.
• Manage project resources, budgets, costs, schedules, assignments, risks, and performance.
• Coordinate with Scrum Masters, PMO leadership, Portfolio Directors, service-line managers, and client stakeholders.
• Provide quality assurance, release support, assessment and authorization support, dashboards, utilization reports, and contractual status deliverables.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years leading programs using Large-Scale Scrum and SAFe.
• Experience with program management tasks within the Department of Veterans Affairs and knowledge of the VA VIP management process.
• Deep understanding of scaled Agile development, the full systems development life cycle, enterprise network engineering, strategic information planning, and business process re-engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical or scientific discipline, or 8 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• PMP certification and the ability to obtain Moderate Background Investigation clearance.

Nice to have

• Leading SAFe 4.5 or higher certification.
• Certified Scrum Master certification.
