Research Associate II, Molecular Biology

Salary: $33.8942–$42.4279 per hour, plus an annual 10% bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Execute established molecular biology protocols, including cloning, PCR, sequencing, and recombinant protein expression and purification.
• Support the development, optimization, and validation of molecular biology assays and protocols for DNA/RNA manipulation and expression systems.
• Conduct transcription profiling, hybridization assays, and array-based analyses as assigned.
• Collect, summarize, and review experimental data; prepare technical summaries, tables, figures, and laboratory records.
• Collaborate with R&D scientists and project teams, support troubleshooting experiments, and contribute to project milestones.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas while following safety, quality, biosafety, and GLP requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Working knowledge of molecular cloning, PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, sequencing, and recombinant protein expression.
• Familiarity with assay execution, protocol adherence, and basic troubleshooting.
• Accurate experimental documentation, strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a laboratory team and maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards.
