What you will do

• Maintain hirify.global facilities and industrial systems to support safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Perform building repairs, including basic remodeling, dock maintenance, plumbing fixture replacement, and repairs to doors, walls, and flooring.
• Repair and install power transmission equipment and mechanical apparatus involving bearings, belts, drives, sheaves, and sprockets.
• Read hydraulic schematics, adjust flow and pressure controls, and perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic 120/277 VAC lighting and equipment circuits while following electrical safety practices.
• Apply knowledge of wet fire-protection systems and perform other maintenance tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, welding, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, or construction trades.
• Working knowledge of 3-phase AC voltage sources up to 480 VAC, amp meters, multimeters, and Ohm's law.
• Knowledge of sprockets, bearings, V-belts, drive belts, and sheaves.
• Strong organization, time management, written and verbal communication, initiative, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work onsite in Weslaco, Texas, including standing, climbing ladders and elevated platforms, lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, and working in temperatures from -20 to 130 degrees.
