PSC Manager (Phlebotomy)

What you will do

• Manage patient service center operations and support hirify.global’s phlebotomy program at the Phoenix location.
• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks, verify patient identities and test requisitions, and maintain specimen integrity.
• Track blood collections, maintain quality-control records, report KPIs, and escalate SPI, CAPA, and NCR issues.
• Manage phlebotomy equipment, supplies, vendors, scheduling issues, draw statuses, customer feedback, and small escalations.
• Onboard, train, and retrain phlebotomists as needed to support patient-volume growth.
• Resolve unusual or incomplete test orders by coordinating with physicians, pathologists, nursing stations, reference laboratories, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience and 5+ years of high-level customer-care experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General knowledge of phlebotomy services and mobile phlebotomy.
• Ability to follow professional, hospital, federal, state, local, and JCAHO standards.
• Excellent communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to use online program-management tools.
• Any phlebotomy license required by the state must be submitted with the resume and application.

Nice to have

• Experience managing or supervising phlebotomy operations and teams.
• Phlebotomy certification or equivalent, except where state regulations mandate licensing.
• BS/BA degree, financial or budgetary experience, and bilingual language skills.
