Clinical Account Coordinator, Big Horn Basin (Phlebotomy)

Location: Remote - Montana; on-site at customer clinical locations, with time potentially split between client sites and home.

What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and collect blood specimens from Tempus patients.
• Prepare, label, package, and track specimens while maintaining specimen integrity and accurate collection logs.
• Verify patient identities, test orders, requisitions, and EMR information before collection.
• Schedule blood draws, coordinate clinic and mobile phlebotomy appointments, and manage courier pickups and chain of custody.
• Maintain account supplies, update specimen tracking systems, and support ordering and requisition workflows.
• Work with clinical staff, patients, and providers to resolve service requests and support financial assistance applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BS/BA degree or RN preferred.
• At least two years of phlebotomy experience required; oncology experience preferred.
• National Phlebotomy Certification is required, or must be obtained according to the requirements of the state of practice.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, aseptic technique, and specimen handling.
• Experience with Epic or comparable EMR systems is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a client-embedded setting with strong customer-service skills.
