Summer 2027 Actuarial Intern

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Perform mathematical and higher-clerical actuarial tasks.
• Compile, categorize, document, and verify data and factors used in actuarial computations.
• Support evaluations of loss and expense reserves, rate filings, statistical schedules, financial statements, premiums, benefits, rating levels, and pricing levels.
• Complete other assigned duties and projects while working closely with a manager and assigned team.

Requirements

• Be an undergraduate or graduate student with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Study toward a degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Have a GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Demonstrate detail orientation and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Have knowledge of finance, the insurance industry, investments, or actuarial fields.
• Understand insurance products and operations.

Nice to have

• Technical experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic, Microsoft Access and SQL, or Python.
