Summer 2027 Actuarial Intern (Insurance)

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $17–$21 USD annual base salary

What you will do

• Perform mathematical and higher-level clerical actuarial tasks.
• Compile, categorize, document, and verify data used in actuarial computations.
• Support evaluations of loss and expense reserves, rate filings, statistical schedules, financial statements, premiums, and benefits.
• Contribute to establishing rating and pricing levels.
• Complete additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Be an undergraduate or graduate student graduating in December 2027 or later.
• Study Data Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Demonstrate knowledge of finance, insurance, investments, or actuarial fields.
• Understand insurance products and operations.
• Have strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic.
• Experience with Microsoft Access and SQL.
• Experience with Python.
