Operations Intern (Payments & Reconciliations)

hirify.global provides an Investment API that enables fintechs and financial institutions to offer investment products and retirement-planning services.

What you will do

• Process and reconcile inbound and outbound payments and treasury transactions accurately and on time.
• Monitor customer payments, related transactions, and operations bank accounts to support reliable cash flows and fully supported balances.
• Prepare cash and securities reconciliation reports.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal cash records and external statements.
• Support customer queries, audit processes, and communication with banking partners.

Requirements

• Strong investigative and analytical skills with the ability to identify errors.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• German language skills.
• Experience with data analysis and process automation using data visualization tools, SQL, Python, or similar technologies.
