CNC Machinist 2 - 2nd Shift

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Hourly pay: $18.89–$31.49 USD per hour

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis CNC machinery to manufacture precision components.
• Load raw materials and monitor machining operations for abnormalities.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain inspection results, part records, and production logs.
• Identify defective materials, process issues, and equipment concerns, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams on solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance by replenishing lubricants and coolants.

Requirements

• Experience with multi-axis and conversational CNC machines.
• In-depth knowledge of G Code programming and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of machining principles, tooling, feed and speed parameters, and precision measurement.
• Applicants may need to be U.S. persons because of ITAR/EAR-controlled goods and technologies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maintain manual dexterity, and follow safety and quality procedures.

Nice to have

• 2 or more years of related experience or equivalent formal apprenticeship training.
• Experience with continuous improvement or lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Ability to train or mentor others.
