Machine Operator 2

Location: Onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Full-time contract-to-hire role working 12-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with 3 days one week and 4 days the following week.

Salary: $20.00 per hour estimated base pay.

What you will do

• Operate complex manufacturing equipment and monitor machine parameters, settings, throughput, and production standards.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, tooling installations, adjustments, and setup verification.
• Conduct in-process quality checks, verify product specifications and dimensions, and document non-conformances.
• Improve equipment efficiency, production rates, cycle times, and utilization through minor operational adjustments.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment and production issues, document resolutions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, production planning, technical staff, and supervisors during meetings and shift handovers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or a related role.
• Experience with multiple equipment types and production processes.
• Technical understanding of equipment functionality, controls, operational parameters, and workplace safety protocols.
• Proficiency with measurement devices, gauges, quality inspection tools, equipment interfaces, and basic data entry.
• Good physical stamina, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with limited supervision in manufacturing environments.
