Director, Commercial Execution (Walmart)

What you will do

• Set the Walmart-wide Commercial Execution and CPFR strategy, operating model, service targets, governance routines, and improvement roadmap.
• Own fill rate, in-stock performance, forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory productivity, and Walmart supply-chain scorecards.
• Build senior relationships with Walmart Merchant and MerchX leadership across replenishment, launches, promotions, and category growth.
• Translate joint business plans into forecasts, inventory investments, production plans, modular timelines, and order-flow requirements.
• Govern demand signals, inventory and replenishment strategy, exception management, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Lead and develop two CPFR Managers while coordinating Sales, Commercial Planning, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Sales Operations, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in CPFR, customer supply chain, replenishment, demand planning, sales operations, or end-to-end supply-chain leadership.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing teams; experience leading managers is strongly preferred.
• Deep experience in the Walmart supplier, retail, merchandising, or replenishment ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success improving forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, fill rate, inventory productivity, or retailer compliance metrics.
• Strong financial acumen, executive communication, analytical fluency, and experience turning complex data into strategic recommendations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience across multiple brands, categories, channels, or seasonal portfolios.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, predictive forecasting, workflow automation, AI-enabled decision tools, Direct Import, or global supply networks.
• Experience building a CPFR center of excellence or cross-functional transformation program.
