Global Supply Manager - Contract Manufacturing

Location: Remote-friendly within the United States; staff are expected to work from one of the offices at least 25% of the time. The role includes up to 50% travel to partner factories in the US and abroad.

What you will do

• Structure and negotiate CM/ODM agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, pricing, NRE models, liability, and flexibility terms.
• Design SLA/SLO frameworks, vendor scorecards, and governance routines from weekly operating reviews to quarterly business reviews.
• Share demand forecasts and convert them into committed capacity and build plans aligned with deployment schedules.
• Manage production schedules, committed volumes, on-time output, recovery plans, and partner inventory buffers.
• Verify partner billing against contracted rates, output, and approved NRE, resolving discrepancies before invoice approval.
• Coordinate product and manufacturing engineering, supply chain, finance, and deployment operations while driving corrective actions to closure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in supply management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
• Direct ownership of a contract manufacturer or ODM relationship through commercial negotiations and production ramps.
• Experience structuring manufacturing agreements, build plans, forecast commitments, inventory terms, and on-time delivery programs.
• Strong data discipline, including scorecards, partner performance validation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to lead cross-functional engineering, finance, supply chain, and operations teams toward decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience manufacturing servers, racks, or accelerator systems with major CMs or ODMs.
• Knowledge of CM cost and billing structures, including unit pricing, NRE, consigned versus turnkey materials, and inventory liability.
• Experience with large-scale hardware deployments, S&OP, capacity modeling, or clear-to-build management.
• Experience with liquid-cooled or high-power-density compute rack systems.
• Experience launching a new manufacturing partner or second source with engineering teams.
