Manager, Supply Planning (Retail)

Location: New York, NY; in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

Base salary: $91,600–$115,000 annually, with the final offer based on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and continuously refine time-phased supply plans and inventory strategies across multiple product categories.
• Optimize service and inventory levels by SKU across plants, co-packers, in-transit stock, and distribution centers.
• Coordinate production schedules and supply requirements with contract manufacturers.
• Build assumption-based inventory plans using demand, supply, logistics, distribution, and finance inputs.
• Model supply-chain scenarios, communicate tradeoffs, and recommend actions to stakeholders.
• Define KPIs, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, and implement continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BA or equivalent required; an advanced degree or supply-chain certification is a plus.
• 4–6 years of experience in supply or inventory planning, ideally in a CPG environment, plus 4+ years of broader operations experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including experience developing inventory models for complex supply networks.
• Experience with ERPs required; SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, independent planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced omni-channel environment spanning DTC and Retail.
