Mortgage Loan Officer (Fintech)

Location: Cherry Hill, New Jersey, with responsibility for Cape May County and travel to assigned branches, customers’ homes and businesses.

Salary: $48,416.00–$79,541.75 per year, plus potential incentive and retention awards.

What you will do

• Originate residential mortgage loans for purchases and refinances, including conventional, FHA, USDA, VA, and first-time homebuyer programs.
• Solicit mortgage business through an existing referral network and present mortgage programs to individuals and professional organizations.
• Serve customers and prospective customers seeking residential mortgage loans.
• Interview applicants, collect financial and property information, and analyze relevant data.
• Explain the mortgage process from application through closing.
• Monitor local real estate trends and changes to private and government-insured mortgage regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience marketing and originating residential mortgage loans and loan products.
• Proven sales, customer service, written communication, and oral communication skills.
• Strong time management, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness and ability to travel to assigned branches, customers’ homes and businesses, and requested presentations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
