Mortgage Loan Officer- Philadelphia PA

Location: Exton, Pennsylvania, United States of America; occasional domestic travel may be required.

Salary: $11.54 per hour plus commission.

What you will do

• Sell and originate residential mortgage loans while working toward established sales goals.
• Meet with prospects and referral partners, explain mortgage products, and recommend options based on customer needs.
• Guide customers through applications, collect supporting documentation, and manage expectations for processing and closing.
• Enter and maintain accurate loan information, prepare files, and submit materials to underwriting and processing.
• Underwrite loans within the authorized scope, communicate decisions, clear conditions, and finalize commitments for closing.
• Attend closings, homebuyer seminars, home shows, and broker meetings while maintaining compliance with mortgage policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent progressive work experience.
• At least 2 years of mortgage origination experience.
• Proven sales ability, negotiation skills, and knowledge of mortgage products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication, time management, self-direction, and planning skills.
• Ability to learn mortgage origination and automated underwriting systems, with practical PC skills.
• Must be eligible for registration as a mortgage loan originator with NMLS and for employment with a covered financial institution.
