What you will do

• Identify and meet with prospective mortgage clients referred by realtors, developers, and internal sources.
• Explain mortgage products and services, offering recommendations tailored to individual prospect needs.
• Guide customers through the entire mortgage application process, from initial inquiry to closing.
• Ensure all applications are completed accurately with required supporting documentation.
• Manage customer expectations regarding processing times and closing dates.
• Communicate loan decisions and coordinate with underwriters, processors, and closing agents.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for registration as a mortgage loan originator with the NMLS.
• Must be eligible for employment under Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act.
• Must pass a criminal background check and credit report check.
• 2+ years of mortgage origination experience.
• Proven sales ability and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to learn mortgage origination and automated underwriting systems.
