People Process Transformation Lead (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work Tuesday and Wednesday in New York, Denver, or San Francisco. Employees in these locations generally work from the office 2–3 days per week or more depending on the role.

Salary: $147,000–$190,000 per year in Denver and most major metro locations; $173,000–$225,000 per year in San Francisco and New York.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year strategy for transforming People Operations processes.
• Analyze employee lifecycle workflows and redesign them using Lean, service design, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with People Technology to improve workflow automation, integrations, self-service, case management, and HRIS capabilities.
• Oversee HRIS Operations and People Services, including operational governance, data processing, service levels, and HR Service Center support.
• Establish operational standards, process ownership, KPI dashboards, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
• Lead and coach managers and individual contributors while influencing stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, Security, and Legal.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, Business Operations, Process Excellence, Consulting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading managers and operational teams.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale process transformation and managing HR shared services, HR operations, HRIS operations, or similar service organizations.
• Strong understanding of Workday or comparable HRIS, case management platforms, and workflow tools.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, business process management, or operational excellence methodologies.
• Strong analytical, executive communication, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth technology companies and enterprise workflow platform implementations.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow automation and employee support technologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence training.
• Experience leading organizational change and large cross-functional programs.
