Senior People Operations Partner

Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, California; office attendance is expected Tuesday through Thursday each week.

Salary: $155,000–$185,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Deliver a high-touch employee, manager, and cross-functional partner experience.
• Own day-to-day People Operations activities and improve People programs, policies, processes, and systems.
• Partner with the PEO and internal stakeholders on payroll, benefits, compensation administration, and employee programs.
• Manage leaves of absence, onboarding, offboarding, background screening, pre-boarding, and new-hire readiness.
• Coordinate employment-based immigration matters, including visa sponsorship, transfers, extensions, and related processes.
• Maintain employee records and support employment compliance while identifying opportunities to simplify and automate operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, and/or HR Business Partnership.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance across multiple states.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a record of accurate execution in sensitive operational areas.
• Experience building, improving, and scaling People processes and programs.
• Ability to balance strategic projects with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ownership, judgment, collaboration, relationship-building, and continuous-improvement skills.
