People Operations & Recruiting Partner (Robotics)

Location: On-site in the Fremont office; must be able to work on-site in Santa Clara, California

What you will do

• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including preboarding, onboarding, employee changes, leave administration, performance-cycle coordination, and offboarding.
• Maintain HRIS data, employee records, employment documents, policies, checklists, and people documentation.
• Coordinate with payroll, benefits, immigration, legal, finance, IT, and external vendors to resolve operational issues.
• Own interview scheduling, candidate communication, feedback collection, offer coordination, background checks, and onboarding handoffs.
• Source, engage, screen, and assess candidates for selected technical and business roles, including urgent searches.
• Use AI tools, agentic workflows, dashboards, SOPs, and lightweight automations to improve recruiting and HR operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience across recruiting, recruiting operations, and HR or People Operations.
• Experience managing workflows from candidate sourcing and interview coordination through offers and onboarding.
• Experience with employee lifecycle processes, HRIS administration, employee documentation, payroll or benefits coordination, and employee inquiries.
• Strong working knowledge of ATS, HRIS, scheduling, documentation, and productivity tools.
• Practical experience using AI or automation tools to improve operating efficiency.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and ability to work on-site in Santa Clara, California.

• Experience in an early-stage or fast-growing startup.
• Experience recruiting engineering, AI, robotics, hardware, or other specialized technical talent.
• Experience supporting immigration, multi-state employment, compensation, or HR compliance workflows.
• Experience building recruiting and People Operations processes from the ground up.
• Experience working directly with founders, executives, and technical hiring managers.
