Manager, People Operations

Location: Hybrid work model with three scheduled in-office days and two work-from-home days; targeting talent in San Diego, California, and Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, plus equity and an annual bonus plan

What you will do

• Lead the administration and continuous improvement of the UKG HRIS and related People systems.
• Build workforce dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analytics using UKG Business Intelligence.
• Own compensation, benefits, wellness, retirement, leave, equity, and other total rewards programs.
• Lead the annual Open Enrollment process, including strategy, vendor coordination, testing, communications, and execution.
• Design scalable operating models, documentation, automation, and processes that improve service quality and reduce manual work.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Payroll, IT, and People leadership on equity administration, leave processing, compliance, and operational planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful People Operations leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on UKG Pro administration or comparable enterprise HRIS experience.
• Strong knowledge of compensation, benefits administration, FLSA, pay transparency, equity programs, DOL requirements, and multi-state employment law.
• Experience creating workforce analytics, executive dashboards, and operational reports, plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Ability to work in the hybrid model with scheduled in-office days in San Diego or Chicago.
