Mortgage Banking Advisor

Location: Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, with travel required to customer and bank locations in Philadelphia, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware for in-person loan closings.

Salary: $44,146 base salary, plus eligibility for commissions based on individual production.

What you will do

• Provide administrative and sales support to Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Coordinate customer communications about appointments, loan status, rate inquiries, and other information.
• Assist with residential loan originations, application appointments, and document reviews.
• Provide marketing support and facilitate communication between customers and Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Attend in-person loan closings at customers’ homes or places of business and travel throughout the assigned region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Previous sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to travel to bank and customer locations for loan closings.
• Must be registered or able to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to resolve problems independently.
• Ability to make decisions and recommendations on important issues affecting loan transactions within the assigned level of authority.
