Consumer Loan Consultant Sr (Consumer Lending)

Location: Covington, KY, United States. Office-based role; applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States. No immigration sponsorship is available.

What you will do

• Manage a pipeline of consumer loan applications and prepare loans for closing.
• Work directly with customers, bankers, underwriters, and third-party service providers throughout the origination process.
• Communicate loan terms, requirements, and conditions, obtain customer acceptance, and keep all parties informed of application updates.
• Follow up on outstanding documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements and resolve application issues.
• Sell product features and benefits, cross-sell additional products and services, up-sell loan amounts, and encourage account usage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in consumer lending, mortgage sales, or mortgage processing.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
