Mortgage Loan Officer - Retail Community

Location: Onsite in Columbus, OH; the posting header also lists Saginaw, MI

What you will do

• Develop and expand internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advise customers on mortgage loan options and other financial products using consultative selling techniques.
• Provide customer service from approval through closing.
• Work with loan origination sources to secure and verify information required for underwriting.
• Maintain client relationships and assist customers with loan applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
• NMLS license.
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines.
• Must work onsite and be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

• Existing pipeline and book of business.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending, and portfolio mortgage programs.
• Experience cross-selling financial products and services.
