What you will do

• Manage the performance and delivery of embedded, safety-critical flight software work packages for the hirify.global Midnight aircraft.
• Coordinate with Software, Systems Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Test teams.
• Oversee software lifecycle activities across requirements, design, code, and testing.
• Manage one or more software teams covering flight controls, battery management systems, or electric engine controls.
• Develop task-based schedules, track program performance, and manage risks, issues, opportunities, and deliverables.
• Lead stakeholder reporting, software change control boards, process improvements, and on-time execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineering Program Manager or in a related role; an alternate path requires 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing software projects and processes across multiple industries and functional areas.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies, process design, and system analysis in technical and business environments.
• Experience with complex systems such as control systems, microgrids, or safety-critical industrial processes.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
