Lead Analyst Investment Reporting

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; primary location Greenwood Village, Colorado. A reliable wired high-speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace are required, with possible office attendance if home conditions are inadequate.

Salary: $100,900–$142,525 base salary per year, with eligibility for a bonus program.

What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual statutory NAIC state financial reports, supplements, audited financial statements, and surveys.
• Coordinate investment presentations in financial statements and ensure consistency across financial statements, Board reports, and analyst materials.
• Research accounting pronouncements and regulatory guidelines, recommend disclosure changes, and determine appropriate disclosures for new investment types.
• Coordinate investment audits, explain accounting positions to auditors, and maintain an accurate audit trail.
• Monitor reporting databases, reconcile ledger balances across multiple systems, and research discrepancies.
• Support new process and project implementation and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5–7 years of financial reporting experience.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of reporting systems including Blackline, EASY, SAP, PAM, Phoenix, and Unit Value Cloud.
• Ability to interpret U.S. Statutory, U.S. GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Nice to have

• Public accounting or investment-related financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Statutory (NAIC) and/or GAAP accounting principles.
