Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting (US GAAP)

Location: US, Arlington, VA; hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 remote

Salary: $105,000–$131,325 per year, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Securities and Exchange Commission requirements.
• Support SEC filings, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q, and coordinate disclosure information from more than 100 business units worldwide.
• Research and communicate the impact of new accounting interpretations, pronouncements, and technical literature.
• Serve as a key accounting contact for stakeholders at headquarters and across global business units.
• Implement process improvements, system reporting upgrades, optimized data collection, and improved financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 public accounting or a public/private mix.
• Current experience preparing and reviewing SEC filings in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting rules, consolidations, and complex technical accounting topics.
• Experience with SAP BPC or comparable consolidation systems, Workiva Wdesk, and Microsoft 365 products including Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to work in the Arlington, Virginia office 3 days per week, with 2 remote days.

Nice to have

• Experience with impairments, acquisitions, divestitures, business combinations, revenue recognition, leases, consolidation, or equity method accounting.
• Experience implementing process improvement or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience using digital tools or AI to improve accounting processes.
