Lead Regulatory Compliance Engineer

Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States; onsite

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, manage, and implement regulatory analyses, activities, and compliance programs.
• Provide regulatory and technical consultation to engineering and project teams.
• Identify, resolve, and manage regulatory issues throughout projects.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and technical analyses.
• Recommend concepts and techniques that improve performance, reduce costs and regulatory burden, and address non-compliances or regulatory changes.
• Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as assigned; travel is less than 5%.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person due to the nature of work performed at the site.
• At least 6 years of related experience; 10+ years is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good working knowledge of NRC and ASME NQA-1 regulations.
• May be required to undergo additional security screening for access to export-controlled information.
