Data Center Area Service Manager (HVAC)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; Friday work location is flexible. Travel to customer job sites is required.

Annual base salary: $117,673.33–$189,800.00. Incentive eligible; not eligible for sales commission.

What you will do

• Lead service repair, upgrades, installations, service agreements, and customer support activities.
• Own P&L management, monthly revenue forecasting, service agreement growth, and service business development with sales.
• Control budgets for fleet, uniforms, tools, safety equipment, and other overhead expenses.
• Manage service coordination for emergency repairs, maintenance contracts, scheduled work, upgrades, installations, replacements, and long-term agreements.
• Recruit, coach, train, and develop service employees while balancing technician skills and district resources.
• Improve margins, invoicing, collections, utilization, customer experience, and environmental, health, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, technical systems, equipment, skilled trades, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules.
• Project management skills for executing projects, startups, and customer requests.
• Technology proficiency with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license held for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
• Ability to work in mechanical and equipment rooms and outdoors, with exposure to variable weather, moving mechanical parts, and heights.
