Labor Relations Manager (Automotive)

Location: Plano, Texas; residence within commutable distance is required.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary labor relations advisor to leadership across six unionized production facilities.
• Develop labor relations strategies, support collective bargaining and contract negotiations, and guide collective bargaining agreement administration.
• Lead complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, grievance resolution, settlement discussions, and arbitration preparation.
• Advise leaders on performance management, corrective action, workplace conduct, attendance, conflict resolution, and engagement.
• Lead, coach, and develop three Team Member Relations Analysts while standardizing service delivery across locations.
• Analyze workforce metrics, oversee engagement surveys, and provide recommendations on productivity, retention, attendance, and operational stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive HR, employee relations, team member relations, or labor relations experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting unionized environments and administering collective bargaining agreements.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations, resolving complex employee relations matters, and leading HR or labor relations professionals.
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, state leave programs, workers’ compensation, and accommodation processes.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future hirify.global immigration sponsorship; willingness to travel 30% is required.

• Experience supporting multiple unionized facilities or geographically dispersed operations.
• Collective bargaining and contract negotiation experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, automotive, supply chain, or production operations.
