Employee Relations Specialist (HR Operations)

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah; must live in the Salt Lake City area. The role follows a 9/80 work schedule and requires travel as needed, at least quarterly, to support remote sites.

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary HR support for frontline leaders and employees.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide expert support on corrective actions, conflicts, and performance matters.
• Coach managers and supervisors on policy interpretation, documentation, counseling, and employee issue resolution.
• Manage policy education, employment compliance, and labor law compliance activities.
• Measure employee engagement and recommend and implement actions to improve employee satisfaction.
• Coordinate HR programs, communications, manager capability initiatives, and engagement events with HR Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than five years of progressive experience in a similar professional role.
• Experience with workplace investigations, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters.
• Must live in the Salt Lake City area and work onsite.
• Ability to travel as needed, at least once per quarter, for remote site support.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
