Senior Manager, Activision Labor Relations (Gaming)

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States. Hybrid work model with some on-site work at an hirify.global office and some remote work.

Salary: $107,350–$198,630 annual base pay in the U.S.; incentive compensation may also apply.

What you will do

• Oversee the implementation and administration of collective bargaining agreements across Activision Publishing bargaining units.
• Manage grievance intake, documentation, resolution, arbitration preparation, and recurring issue analysis.
• Coordinate responses to union Requests for Information with HR, Employee Relations, Legal, and operational leaders.
• Advise HR and business leaders on labor relations strategy, contractual obligations, risk management, and dispute resolution.
• Support collective bargaining negotiations through proposal review, costing analysis, scenario planning, and leadership briefings.
• Design and deliver training on Microsoft Labor Principles, contract interpretation, grievance handling, and NLRA compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Industrial Relations, Business, Law, or a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree with 6+ years of experience or equivalent substantial experience.
• Expertise applying the National Labor Relations Act and employment and human resources laws, regulations, policies, and practices.
• Experience administering and implementing collective bargaining agreements.
• Management-side experience with grievances, arbitrations, and/or negotiations.
• Demonstrated ability to build trust-based relationships with union representatives and advise leaders in complex situations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead labor relations initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment.

• Experience in unionized gaming, entertainment, technology, or creative environments.
• Experience supporting inaugural collective bargaining agreement implementation.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills across organizational levels.
