TL;DR
Production Merchandiser - 12 month FTC (Production and Supply Chain): Managing purchase orders, critical paths, supplier relationships, and production reporting to support on-time delivery across a global supply chain with an accent on vendor performance, capacity planning, and data accuracy. Focus on analysing large production datasets, coordinating freight forwarders and suppliers, and identifying operational risks and improvement opportunities.
Location: Solihull, England, United Kingdom. Minimum expectation of four days per week onsite at HQ.

What you will do
- Manage purchase orders and ensure vendor orders are issued within agreed SLAs.
- Own and maintain critical paths to keep production timelines and delivery deadlines on track.
- Build supplier relationships, lead production review meetings, and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor vendor performance, supplier capacity, and production demand to support planning and continuous improvement.
- Maintain production tracking systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and suppliers, and analyse reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting.
- Confidence working with and analysing large volumes of data.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Power BI experience.
- SAP, ERP, or Product Lifecycle Management software experience.
- Degree in Business Analytics or a related field.
- CIPS qualification or progress toward it.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production function.
