Product & Yield Engineer (Data-focused)

What you will do

• Lead sourcing and procurement for ICs, passives, PCBs, connectors, electromechanical parts, and EMS/CM services.
• Provide technical input on supplier selection, component qualification, RFQs, cost breakdowns, and technical-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQs, capacity commitments, and technical constraints with manufacturers, distributors, and EMS/CM partners.
• Support NPI sourcing, BOM cost roll-ups, component lifecycle management, PCNs, EOLs, last-time-buy strategies, ECO implementation, and component transitions.
• Identify supply risks and develop alternate-source, dual-source, buffer, and supply-continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, finance, and programme teams; report on costs, supplier performance, risks, and mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of experience in electronics procurement, supply chain engineering, or manufacturing sourcing.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, EMS/CM operations, and global electronics supply chains.
• Experience managing technically complex sourcing activities and supplier negotiations.
• Strong technical judgement, negotiation, supplier-management, cost-modelling, and BOM-analysis skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel; ability to influence engineering and operations without direct authority.

• Familiarity with global component distributors and allocation management.
