Material Planner

What you will do

• Manage purchase orders in line with purchasing procedures and raise orders to maintain stock levels and meet business requirements.
• Review inventory weekly across multiple systems and warehouses to support project requirements and adequate stock availability.
• Coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and warehouses, including forecasts, delivery schedules, inbound updates, and service levels.
• Plan and improve material delivery processes from suppliers to warehouses, including negotiating expedited requirements.
• Review product costs, update product codes and prices, and approve purchase, duty, and freight invoices.
• Analyse global slow-moving stock, prepare statistical reports, advise the line manager, and lead efficiency improvement projects.

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Syteline or Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI).
• Experience in stock and inventory management.
• Ability to use multiple systems accurately and precisely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal departments and external suppliers.
• Self-motivated, organised, adaptable, and able to multitask while maintaining a professional approach.
