Manufacturing Technician II

Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas, based at the Burnet facility

What you will do

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers using mechanical skills.
• Work safely with hazardous chemicals while using required personal protective equipment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to achieve production goals.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical or technical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required, lift or move up to 51 pounds daily, perform visual inspections, and obtain respirator certification.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; SAP and PLC experience is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment.
• Experience with SAP or PLC systems.
