Senior Software Engineer - Qualification & Delivery - Release Platform (DevOps)

Annual salary: $105,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain internal release platform services and DevOps tooling for automated, scalable, reliable, and observable software delivery.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows using Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Build policy-as-code governance frameworks with Open Policy Agent and Rego to enforce deployment rules, approvals, and compliance gates.
• Design self-service developer capabilities, standardized deployment workflows, configuration automation, and security integrations.
• Implement observability, deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary releases, and fail-safe rollback mechanisms.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with platform, security, infrastructure, SRE, and application teams.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience developing internal developer platforms and DevOps tooling for large-scale organizations.
• Expertise in Python, Go, .NET, TypeScript, and React.
• Deep Kubernetes experience, including namespace management, service discovery, network policies, ingress and egress management, and service mesh.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, GitOps workflows, Bash and Python scripting, and Open Policy Agent with Rego.
• Understanding of cloud networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and ingress controllers.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP, plus troubleshooting deployment, performance, and networking issues.
