Director of Global Category Management: Workplace, Infrastructure & Lab Operations Portfolio - (M6) (Semiconductor)

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the global Workplace, Infrastructure, and Lab Operations category portfolio strategy and multi-year value roadmaps.
• Lead a global organization of category leaders, category managers, and matrixed sourcing teams.
• Build organizational capability, succession plans, leadership pipelines, and talent development programs.
• Serve as the executive business partner to Global Workplace & Infrastructure leadership and improve planning and governance.
• Lead category management excellence, supplier relationship management, supplier performance governance, and risk management.
• Transform the global operating model through standardized playbooks, scorecards, preferred supplier programs, AI-enabled market intelligence, automation, and digital dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, construction management, finance, architecture, real estate, operations, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 10+ years leading global teams and managers.
• Experience leading category management organizations and managing large global spend portfolios.
• Background in workplace, infrastructure, facilities, construction, real estate, engineering services, laboratory operations, or similar environments.
• Experience with organizational design, transformation, executive stakeholder management, supplier governance, and SRM programs.
• Experience operating in complex global and matrixed organizations.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor or advanced manufacturing industry experience.
• Capital construction, infrastructure, workplace, or integrated facilities management expertise.
• Laboratory operations and equipment category expertise.
• Experience building category management organizations from the ground up and leading global SRM programs.
• MBA, CPSM, CIPS, CPM, PMP, or equivalent certification.
