Project Manager (Power Generation)

Location: Denver, CO, US; on-site. Travel to field locations up to 50% as required.

Compensation: $175,000–$215,000 per year plus bonus, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of an individual power generation project within a larger program, from initiation through closeout.
• Develop project plans covering schedules, budgets, resources, risks, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Lead the Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager, defining responsibilities and developing their teams.
• Direct engineering, construction, completions, commissioning, and turnover across electrical, communication, controls, and mechanical systems.
• Set project controls and procurement strategies, oversee contractors and suppliers, and approve changes and agreements.
• Manage vendors, customers, internal leadership, project reporting, field logistics, and escalation of critical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 7+ years of experience managing and executing large projects valued above $100 million; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience in industrial environments, with strong preference for power generation and project execution in the oil and gas or energy sector.
• Expertise in planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, risk management, resource allocation, change management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams and directing technical and commercial leads.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Flexibility to provide on-site support and travel to field locations up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Gas turbine power generation experience.
• Familiarity with construction inspection requirements and best practices.
• Experience mentoring or managing Assistant Project Managers.
