Maintenance Engineer (HVAC)

Location: On-site in Greenwich, Connecticut, supporting medical office buildings in Greenwich and Lower Fairfield County

What you will do

• Perform preventive, emergency, and corrective maintenance for medical office buildings.
• Maintain and repair building automation, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, boiler, generator, transfer switch, and life safety systems.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate repair and maintenance records.
• Use computer and smartphone applications for the work order system and email.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for the Lower Fairfield County area.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of building automation systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, rooftop HVAC, variable air volume systems, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches, and life safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and use Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
• Strong organizational, verbal, written, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, lift up to 50 pounds, and climb ladders.

• Relevant licensure or trade certification.
