Senior Systems Engineer

Location: Killeen, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one remote day per week. Less than 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Conduct trade studies and cost-benefit analyses for systems and project decisions.
• Identify stakeholder, customer, and user needs and develop UAF/DODAF operational and service viewpoints.
• Derive and manage requirements for courses of action that close Multi-Domain Operations capability gaps.
• Develop system models, design documentation, requirements traceability, and verification and validation analyses across the lifecycle.
• Support MBSE processes and model operational testing, test, and evaluation activities using standard tools.
• Coordinate technical and programmatic priorities, maintain requirements baselines, and support software interface requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with developmental or operational testing, Multi-Domain Operations, and DoD systems.
• Graduate of a military service school equivalent to the Army Command and General Staff College; Military Education Level 4 qualification required.
• Experience with MBSE tools for architecture, design, and requirements development; CAMEO and Enterprise Architect are preferred.
• Exposure to Agile software development, software architecture, and system or subsystem requirements definition.
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance are required.
