Senior Director, Virtual Health

Location: Hybrid role with regular in-office attendance in Sacramento or Emeryville, California. Candidates must be prepared to commute to the California office consistently for collaboration, meetings, and business needs.

Salary: $200,096.00–$320,153.60 annual base pay, depending on geographic compensation market and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead strategic planning, operational performance, business development, and virtual health service delivery.
• Develop and execute initiatives supporting quality, service excellence, affordability, growth, and operational effectiveness.
• Guide telehealth programs and projects using knowledge of policy, regulation, platforms, remote monitoring, and digital health trends.
• Partner with physician leaders, service line executives, regional teams, informatics, digital teams, and system stakeholders.
• Lead healthcare product and service development, physician practice operations, business planning, and continuous improvement.
• Manage financial stewardship, budgets, forecasts, business cases, and growth investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, hospital administration, public administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• At least 8 years of recent relevant experience and progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience.
• Expertise in healthcare operations, strategic planning, business development, healthcare service delivery, and organizational leadership.
• Experience with physician group operations, ambulatory care, patient care financing, managed care, and healthcare administration.
• Strong financial management, relationship management, change leadership, communication, executive influencing, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead complex, multifunctional initiatives, build consensus, manage complexity, and drive results.

Nice to have

• Certifications in digital health, telemedicine, or healthcare leadership, such as CPHIMS, FACHE, CMPE, or Telehealth Certification Institute credentials.
