Senior Director, Virtual Health

Location: Hybrid role based in Sacramento or Emeryville, California, with regular attendance at the assigned work location and onsite meetings or events as needed.

Salary: $200,096–$320,153 annual salary.

What you will do

• Lead strategic planning, operational performance, business development, and virtual health service delivery.
• Develop and execute strategies supporting quality, growth, affordability, service excellence, and patient outcomes.
• Guide virtual health programs using knowledge of telehealth policy, regulation, platforms, remote monitoring, and digital health trends.
• Oversee healthcare product and service development, physician practice operations, financial stewardship, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with physician leaders, service line executives, regional teams, informatics, digital teams, and system stakeholders.
• Lead complex, multifunctional initiatives that improve organizational performance and support sustainable growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• 8 years of recent relevant experience and progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience in healthcare operations, strategic planning, business development, physician practice management, healthcare products and services, and organizational leadership.
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, care delivery models, healthcare regulations, HIPAA, CMS, physician group operations, ambulatory care, managed care, and healthcare administration.
• Financial acumen covering budgets, forecasting, business cases, and growth investments.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, executive influencing, relationship management, change leadership, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Certification in digital health, telemedicine, or healthcare leadership, such as CPHIMS, FACHE, CMPE, or Telehealth Certification Institute credentials.
