System Director, Ambulatory Imaging

Salary: $82.74–$107.57 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and implement system-wide ambulatory imaging strategy aligned with clinical, growth, access, and financial objectives.
• Coordinate priorities, operating models, protocols, and performance expectations with regional imaging, medical, ambulatory, and physician group leaders.
• Lead network planning, including site development, modality and technology selection, capital investment, workforce models, and service standards.
• Identify access and expansion opportunities using patient demand, referral patterns, market position, capacity, and service-line needs.
• Establish access and patient experience standards while improving appointment availability and reducing wait times.
• Monitor quality, utilization, workforce, financial, access, volume, and patient experience performance while ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance.

Requirements

• Master's degree.
• At least five years of operational leadership experience.
• Experience planning and operating within a large, diverse, and technically complex matrix environment.
• Proven success managing budgets, staffing allocations, quality controls, process improvement, equipment operations, and educational programs.
• Ability to establish credibility with medical staff and key stakeholders through high-quality service, timeliness, and performance.
