Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance - Vice President

Location: New York, New York, United States; office work Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Friday

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 base salary per year, plus equity and an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and real-time analysis of revenue, expenses, sales activity, and GAAP and non-GAAP metrics.
• Develop financial and performance metrics, client analytics, budgets, forecasts, and management insights.
• Prepare monthly management and quarterly board reporting packages, including financial statement consolidation, variance analysis, revised forecasts, and KPI reporting.
• Perform sales analytics to support business development and growth within the hirify.global Solutions department.
• Identify reporting improvements, remediate process gaps, and implement effective internal controls and documentation.
• Support ad hoc initiatives involving software implementation, reporting automation, and financial planning and analysis tools.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or accounting, preferably in financial services or at a top-tier firm.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, advanced analytics, quantitative modeling, and large data sets.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with business, sales, and department leads.
• Experience with planning and ERP tools such as Workday Adaptive, Tableau, or Essbase is preferred; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or general ledger systems is also preferred.
• Familiarity with private equity, hedge funds, or structured investments is preferred; an MBA, CPA, or CFA is desirable.
