Location: hirify.global Vancouver Campus, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; responsibilities cover academic learning spaces across four university and twenty-eight clinical sites in British Columbia.

Salary: CAD 7,502.25–10,788.33 per month.

What you will do

  • Manage daily operations for more than 150 VC rooms, 175 non-VC rooms, clinical skills and on-call rooms, libraries, and study spaces.
  • Coordinate reactive and preventive maintenance, building access, security, trades, technicians, and contractors with hirify.global and Health Authority teams.
  • Plan and manage renovations and maintenance projects, including requirements, specifications, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, site meetings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead the annual Space and Technology Renewal Needs Assessment and develop the learning-space renewal project pipeline with Digital Solutions and hirify.global IT/AV.
  • Transition new learning spaces into operations by coordinating site visits, orientations, training, booking systems, and user processes.
  • Develop booking policies and procedures, resolve recurring and sensitive operational issues, and manage budgets, payments, purchase orders, and operating expenses.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in project coordination, space planning, or facilities management.
  • Excellent computer, written and oral communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure, meet deadlines, and build effective relationships with university and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise tact, diplomacy, discretion, and independent judgment in budget, safety, security, and operational matters.
  • Commitment to respecting diverse perspectives and developing knowledge and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

  • Experience using ARCHiBUS and CAD programs.
  • Experience working in the university or healthcare sector.
