Building Services and Contracts Manager

What you will do

• Oversee daily facilities operations and maintenance across buildings, systems, and support services.
• Develop facilities strategies, policies, and preventative and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Lead internal facilities teams, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, contracts, vendors, and service delivery against SLAs.
• Lead capital projects, refurbishments, space planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, fire, and security systems while maintaining emergency preparedness and business continuity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities management, building operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams and contractors and managing vendor performance.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, health and safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, financial controls, and multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Nice to have

• IWFM, NEBOSH, or an equivalent relevant certification.
