Workplace Supervisor (Facilities Management)

Location: Munich, Germany; fully on-site

Salary: €54,000–€79,200 gross annual base salary

What you will do

• Manage daily facilities and workplace operations, including site inspections, maintenance, supplies, parking, workplace requests, and building-management coordination.
• Lead vendor and contractor performance for cleaning, security, maintenance, waste, catering, and specialist services.
• Supervise and coach workplace coordinators, reception staff, janitorial teams, and other onsite contractors.
• Manage the Munich workplace budget, purchase orders, invoices, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead workplace experience activities, onboarding support, meeting-room and AV services, space planning, office moves, expansions, and renovations.
• Coordinate health and safety activities, emergency response, fire drills, first-aider and warden training, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in facilities or workplace management, ideally in a multinational technology or corporate environment.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, workplace projects, and service-level agreements.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, with strong communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Fluent German and English required.
• Willingness to work occasionally on weekends or holidays for critical maintenance and remain on-call for emergencies, subject to local labor laws.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of audio-visual and videoconferencing systems, HVAC, and Building Management Systems.
• Experience with hirify.global AutoCAD or Revit.
