IT Support Analyst

Location: Onsite in Midland, Texas; candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Midland office.

Salary: $20.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide onsite and remote technical support and resolve client IT issues.
• Diagnose hardware, software, network, printing, and mobile-device problems.
• Install, configure, update, and patch Windows, Mac OS, and basic Windows Server environments.
• Support Microsoft Office, email configurations, productivity tools, and network connectivity.
• Replace computer components, document support activity, and maintain ticketing records.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or vendors while maintaining clear client communication.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and basic knowledge of Windows Server and Mac OS.
• Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge and experience with network troubleshooting tools.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office, smartphones, tablets, desktops, laptops, peripherals, software installations, patches, and updates.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, written, oral communication, and customer-service skills.
• Ability and desire to learn new skills.
• A Computer Science degree or relevant education is preferred; CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or CCNA certifications are preferred.
