Manufacturing Engineer - 2nd Shift

What you will do

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes, workflow layouts, assembly methods, and automation integration for robotic system components.
• Use CAD/CAM software, simulation tools, Minitab or SPC, and statistical analysis to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle time and yield.
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations teams to apply Design for Manufacturability principles and transition prototypes to high-volume production.
• Lead root cause analyses using 8D and Fishbone methods, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Set up, validate, and maintain CNC machines, test fixtures, and automated assembly equipment.
• Conduct capability studies, FMEA, Gauge R&R studies, KPI tracking, supplier process evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience in process design, equipment integration, and analysis within systems or electronics manufacturing.
• Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical tools, process simulation, manufacturing equipment, and metrology.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality management systems, production planning, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with project management, problem-solving, communication, and independent work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards.
