Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Lead daily production operations and supervise production employees in a heavy-assembly manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements while taking corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate staffing, training, temporary labor, attendance, overtime, line balancing, and production schedules.
• Monitor production, quality, efficiency, scrap, rework, and customer delivery performance.
• Coach employees, address personnel issues, and administer disciplinary actions when required.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment involving heavy assembly, tensioning, crane lifting, or machining.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or 5S.
• Working knowledge of MRP and quality-control systems.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• A bachelor's or associate's degree is preferred but not required.
